YMCA Holds Second National School Conference


The YMCA of Liberia 2nd Annual National Schools Conference begins on August 6 in Ganta, Nimba County.

The two days conference will run from August 7-8, 2015 at the YMCA Youth Center in Ganta, Nimba County. Participants at the conference will include senior staff of the Liberia YMCA, school administrators and authorities of the YMCA school system.

The conference provides a platform for YMCA staff, schools and branch administrators to meet and discuss challenges, disadvantage and success for the effective running of all YMCA schools.

The conference will also discuss prospects and suggests recommendations for the growth and development of YMCA academic institutions around the country and review the 2014-2015 academic school reports and activities as well as review and discuss challenges and make preparations for the next academic school year.

Additionally participants from the various YMCA branches around the country will be holding  Branch Coordinators' meeting at the same venue. 

Participants will also share success stories of other branches as a medium of strengthening weaker branches and are expected to come from YMCA branches and schools in Monrovia, Gbarnga, Ganta, Kakata, , Unification Town, Yekepa, Zorzor and Zwedru.
