Scholarships for Female Trainees

The Liberia YMCA has offered two scholarships for female wanting to become trainers in Computer Software. The offer was made during the 26 Cycle graduation of the Liberia YMCA Computer Training Center in Monrovia.

“I am happy to see a female trainer among the trainers, and stepping up the need to have more female trainers and in so doing, the YMCA is offering two scholarships to interested females in becoming trainers at the YMCA Computer Training Center.” The YMCA CEO said.

He asked the administration of the Computer Training Center to identify two females who are smart and have performed well and are interested in becoming trainers. Following their training, and subsequent assignment, this will bring to three the total number of female trainers at the Liberia YMCA Computer Training Center.

The Liberia YMCA has over the years promoted female employment and participation in all of its activities. Currently, the institution has a number of females in its senior management and employ, ranging from Finance Manager to National Program Officer to Computer Training Coordinator as well as Chairman of the Gbarnga YMCA Board among others females in Monrovia and other branches around the country.
