Providing Restart-up for Ebola Affected Liberians

The Liberia YMCA in partnership with Y Care & Comic Relief continues

the implementation of the Ebola Recovery Project under the title "Mobilizing

Young People in Liberia & Sierra Leone Rebuild their Lives Devastated by Ebola".

In Gbarnga, Bong County a number of young people (in the photos below) underwent Entrepreneur & Life Skills Training for skilled young people with existing businesses damaged by the Ebola outbreak in Liberia.

Following their training, these young people will receive ten thousand (L$10.000.00)

Liberian dollars as restart up capital.

They will be monitored and tracked regarding the improvement in business and well-being.


Similar activity will also take place in Kakata, Margibi County.

The workshop was implemented by YMCA Liberia, with funding from Comic Relief through Y Care International under the ERP Project.
